  91. BERT'S COLORING PROGRAMS, with Sound Blaster voice. You may freely copy

  93. REGISTER.DOC, and also in MANUAL.DOC, and you may wish to give this to

  95. COLORING PROGRAMS are enjoyable coloring programs for children of all

  109. same directory as the BERT.EXE program, otherwise on startup the program
  110. will beep a few times, display the title and then do nothing as it will
  111. not be able to find the image files. To print the manual for BERT'S

  191.     Bert's Coloring Programs require an IBM compatible computer with at 
  192. least 512K of memory, a VGA display and a Microsoft compatible mouse. A 
  193. Sound Blaster card is optional. The program installation process is 
  194. quite easy. (Users obtaining .ZIP files from the Internet or a BBS can 
  195. skip this installation section.) 
  196.     First, make a backup copy of your Bert's Coloring Programs program 
  197. disk. If necessary consult your PC-DOS/MS-DOS manual for a description 
  198. of the DISKCOPY command. Save the original program disk in a safe place 
  199. and use the copy as the working program disk. 
  200.     Second, while it is possible to use Bert's Coloring Programs on a 
  201. floppy disk system, a hard disk system is a necessity for reasonable 
  202. speed and storing a number of pictures your child has created. To 
  203. install Bert's Coloring Programs on a hard disk use the following steps: 
  204.  
  205.     1. Insert the floppy disk in your computer in drive A. (or B if 
  206.        necessary)
  207.     2. Type A: (or B:)
  208.     3. Type INSTALL A C (or INSTALL B C)
  209.  
  210.     Any hard drive letters can be used, for example INSTALL B D will 
  211. install the program from floppy drive B to hard drive D. The 
  212. installation will create a directory called BERT4 on your hard drive and 
  213. you will need to enter a CD\BERT4 to change to the Bert's Coloring 
  214. Programs directory before running the program. Once installed just type 
  215. BERT to start the program. If your computer gives a series of beeps when 
  216. you run Bert's Coloring Programs it is probably because it cannot find 
  217. the image files it needs to run, and other problems may be showing up as 
  218. well. All the files for Bert's Coloring Programs need to be in the same 
  219. directory for the program to operate successfully. You should not mix 
  220. the .DOT image files from Bert's Coloring Programs with those of 
  221. versions previous to 3.0 as they are in a different format.
